Alicia Keys:
My pearl girl, a mum, a wife, a woman that's worthy.  She is an amazing singer, songwriter , producer and actress. Alicia whose real name is Alicia Augello Cook was raised by her single mother. She grew up finding her own voice and self in music and doing good to make the world a better place.

My pearl sister has sold over 30million albums world wide and has been named among the 100 all time artist by VH1. She has starred in so many TV shows including The Cosby Show.
We best relate with her song Falling, which spent 6 weeks at number 1 on the billboard hot 100 in 2001, and her A woman's worth which also made it to the top 10 in 2002.

She is a co founder and global ambassador of Keep A  Child Alive , a charity organisation that provides medicines to people with HIV and AIDS in Africa. She has also donated and performed to raise fund for so many other charity organisations on this course.

                                                      Oprah Winfrey

Oprah at the White House for the 2010 Kennedy center Honors.

A woman of all time. My pearl, my mentor in many ways.Originally named Orpah Gail Winfrey, born on the 29th of January 1954 by her poor unmarried teenage mother. At the time, Oprah suffered so many hardships and abuse. According to her, she was raped at avery tender age of 9, later at the age of 14 she had a baby that died soon after.

Despite all that she went through, she found her way around when she ran away from her family . She landed a job in the radio while she was still in the high school. As she progressed in the entertainment industry, she launched her own talk show named after her.

Today Oprah is the most influencial woman in the world. The greatest black philantropist. A counsellor. She is a co-author of 5 books. Much loved for her down to earth approach to broadcasting of her show. She understands the need to listen to others. She is a multi billionaire though according to her, she is grateful for all that she has and she knows what to do with it. She says; 'my life is that of service and love. My brand is love'.

When asked, she says that she is always careful and observant to the kind of energy that she exudes in her space and that of people who come around her. She advices, 'never allow people to bring negative energy around you.' She says, 'shouting at people reduces the positive energy for productivity.'

The First Lady, Michelle Obama.
   Michelle Obama.

My pearl first lady. A lady we love and cherish. A mother of two, a wife of the 44th president of the United States of America. A beautiful fashion icon of our time. A priceless woman.

Michelle Obama, born january 17th, 1964, originally Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. She attended Princeton university and Harvard  law university. Before she became the first Lady, she worked at the university  of Chicago Medical Centre.

During the 2007/2008 presidential election campaign, she gave her all supporting her husband's bid. She gave a keynote address at the Democratic National Convention. She not only assumed office as the First Lady, she has used her office to advocate for poverty awareness , nutrition and healthy eating.

She says, 'mentoring young women is my passion.' 'Nuture your dream, work hard, and practise who you want to be at all times. Push forward, go for it.' She says; 'Know who you are, push beyond people's view of you, trust your instinct, success is about confidence not personal background. Aspire to go far and higher.'  'There's always going to be doubts but it's the ability to push beyond the disbelief that makes the difference. Read, write, read and keep reading.'
